Apple Barrel Cafe started in Bixby, Oklahoma as a family-owned restaurant graciously serving homemade food with extra large portions and top-quality ingredients since 2002. With our success, thanks to our loyal customers we expanded to our surrounding communities. 

Although we have expanded from our humble 2002 beginning in Bixby, Oklahoma, and added extended families to join the Apple Barrel brand - we ensure consistency in the same quality food, menu, image, and brand across all restaurants. If ever any of our customers view differences at any of our locations, we welcome constructive feedback. We will continue to provide superior food quality and quantity at an affordable price even as the ever-changing market evolves. 

Our brand promise is to provide a friendly welcoming home-away-from-home cafe where our guests are cared for like family while enjoying real, home-style, high-quality, fresh food with large portions at a cheap price. Also, to be active in the communities surrounding our restaurants and give back to those in need within those communities.

Apple Barrel Café prides itself on quality food, daily specials, price value, extra large portions, and breakfast all day, every day. Our beef is aged, certified premium U.S.D.A. choice, and all of our ingredients are of the highest quality and prepared fresh in our kitchens from scratch every day. We also offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and other special diet options - Check out our menu options.

We also make items by request even if it is not on the menu.

The Founder

Simon Khatib is the founder of Apple Barrel Cafe and an entrepreneur who believes in eating and shopping locally to support small businesses/families in our surrounding communities. Although he has sold his locations to extended families, he is very much involved with Apple Barrel and its image. Also, he is the owner of RJK Rentals and is always looking for investment opportunities.
